Sprig + Fern Sees a Sell Out at NZ Brewers Fest

Sprig + Fern Brewing Co. were delighted to see a sell-out of their range of award-winning beer, cider and seltzers at NZ Brewers Fest on Saturday.

Despite the day starting off with wet and windy conditions, Festival-goers turned up in force to the event held at Brewtown Upper Hutt. As the clouds broke and the day warmed, an affection grew for the Sprig + Fern lineup – particularly the Festival-favourite Grown Up Lemonade, which saw unprecedented demand and was completely sold out by mid-afternoon.

Following soon after was Hidden Gem Hazy, the Brewery’s newest limited release beer, of which a small volume was reserved for NZ Brewers Fest. The hazy pale ale contains the NZH-104 trial hop from NZ Hops’ Bract Brewing Programme and was met with many favourable reviews at the Festival.

The remaining products, Nectaron® Pale Ale and Mango + Lime Cider sold out around 5:30pm, just shy of the Festival’s closing time of 7pm.

Sprig + Fern Brewing Co. are now beginning preparations for the next two Festivals they’ll be attending; Dunedin Craft Beer & Food Festival at Forsyth Barr Stadium, and Beers at the Basin at Wellington’s Basin Reserve, both held in November.
