SPRIG + FERN MAPUA

Opened in 2015 and set in a renovated historic schoolhouse in the heart of Mapua, Sprig + Fern Mapua was eagerly awaited by locals and has certainly made it’s mark.

Owned and operated by Peter Fry and Sue Bloomfield, their vision for the old building was brought to life and is now a firm favourite for both locals and visitors – whether it’s for a proper pint of award-winning craft beer and cider, or a bite to eat from the extensive (and delicious) menu.

Alongside the beer taps sits a range of wine, spirits and soft drinks. Our wines are predominantly sourced locally from the Moutere, Motueka and Waimea regions. Soft drinks include the delicious non-alcoholic Sprig + Fern Ginger Beer, and a range of fizzy drinks and fruit juices. Tea and coffee is also available.

For entertainment, don’t look past the Quiz Night, held every Wednesday at 7:30pm (with the exception of the busy summer months).

With a spacious and warm interior and a sunny decking area, there’s a space to be comfortable at Sprig + Fern Mapua.
