Sprig + Fern Upper Queen was the first Sprig + Fern Tavern, so has a special place in the hearts of our locals. The Tavern was recently refurbished with a warm and comfortable interior, and a dog-friendly, sunny, outdoor garden bar. For those driving, we have a generous sized car-park out back.
We proudly serve the entire range of Sprig + Fern award-winning craft beers and ciders, as well as a range of quality wines and spirits – supporting local wherever possible with the likes of Blackenbrook, Brightwater, Kahurangi, and Te Mania.
We host a Quiz Night every Tuesday, fundraising for local groups each month.
At Upper Queen we know our customers by name, and new faces are ensured a warm welcome. Our Tavern is always full of great chat, and lots of laughter!
