We’re a small neighbourhood bar nestled on the corner of Adelaide Road and Luxford Street, in the heart of the community of Berhampore (we also own Sprig + Fern Tawa, so you’ll see our friendly faces both sides of the city).

We pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming experience that is like an extension of your living room. We like to call ourselves the ‘best little local’ – and we have the bling to back it up, after winning the Best Local award at the Hospitality NZ Awards for Excellence in June 2023 and being named as a finalist for Best Bar in NZ in 2025!

With nineteen taps of award-winning craft beer and cider, as well as largely locally-sourced food (plus dog beer for the furry friends, and free jet planes for the little ones), there’s something for everyone.

We’re a central hub to catch up with friends for lunch, a beer after work or a place to socialise at our Quiz Night on Tuesday, Greek Food Truck on Thursday or Vinyl Sundays. There’s always something happening at the Sprig!
