LOWER SOUTH ISLAND TERRITORY MANAGER

The Lower South Island Territory Manager will be responsible for maintaining, nurturing and growing new and existing accounts in the Canterbury, West Coast, Otago and Southland regions.
Backed by sixteen Sprig + Fern Taverns and with a strong presence in-stores and online, we’re looking for a results-driven individual to take the Sprig + Fern brand to new heights.
You’ll have a strong sales know-how and a can-do attitude, an ear to the ground for industry trends, a nose for new business and an eye for detail, ensuring every can and bottle sits on shelf just right.
And perhaps most importantly, you’ll live and breathe the Sprig + Fern brand, be an ambassador day-to-day, represent us proudly at events, and champion our award-winning craft beers, ciders and RTDs.
The skills and experience our new Territory Manager will bring to the table:
• Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of B2B sales, preferably within FMCG, or a background in hospitality with an eagerness to learn.
• An ability to analyse sales trends and data to find and secure opportunities.
• A high level of organization to plan call cycles that effectively service our customer network in the territory.
• Confidence in the use of technology – particularly iPad, the Microsoft Office suite, and putting together sales reports.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, with an eagerness to use these to optimise the quality and efficiency of your work.
• You’re a likeable person, excellent at building and retaining commercial relationships with key customers.
We’ll also need you to:
• Have buckets of energy, passion, and a drive to get things done and deliver outcomes in a timely manner.
• Be engaged and stay connected with the brewery-based team in Nelson – this role is largely remote with a moderate amount of travel time, so we need to know you’re confident making contact when needed.
• Have a clean and valid driving licence – we’ll provide the company car.
• Be based in central Christchurch or the greater Christchurch area.
• Have eligibility to work within New Zealand either as a resident or by holding a current work visa.
• Bring a passion for craft beer, ciders and RTDs – ideally of the Sprig + Fern variety!

MARKETING + COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing + Communications Executive to drive continuous brand growth for Sprig + Fern.
Working as a part of the senior leadership team, this role will be brewery based and have responsibility for developing and delivering a cohesive marketing and communications strategy that strengthens brand, brewery, and taverns.
Key activities include;
• A focus on digital marketing and advertising, including both paid and organic social media, website management and upkeep, SEO, and email marketing.
• In collaboration with the Master Brewer, plan and implement new product development.
• An eye for a great story and the ability to communicate this externally, internally, and across a variety of platforms.
• Develop promotional and advertising campaigns in line with brand and product guidelines, including copy, design, print and collateral, both internally and with external designers and suppliers.
• Provide and maintain professional sales tools to support the objectives of the sales team.
• Relationship management and regular communications with Taverns, suppliers, customers and key partners to support campaigns, community, and new product development.
• Being an ambassador for the Sprig + Fern brand at events, festivals and more.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• A tertiary qualification and/or proven experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional communication skills, including a knack for creative writing and the ability to maintain a consistent voice for the Sprig + Fern brand.
• Innovation, creativity and a natural curiosity to identify industry trends and connect with our target audience.
• A great eye for detail and a natural flair for visual concepts and design.
• A steadfast approach to maintaining our identity.
• The commitment to establish, maintain and grow effective relationships with suppliers, sponsorships, customers and more.
• The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
