Two Sprig Best-Sellers Shine In Untappd Community Awards

The top-rated beers in New Zealand, as voted by the community of rating website Untappd, have been named with Sprig + Fern represented by two of their best-selling brews.

In the inaugural Untappd Community Awards, Sprig + Fern’s Tasman Reserve Premium Lager was the second highest ranked beer in the Lager – Strong category in 2023, with The G.O.A.T Doppelbock third in the Bock – Doppelbock category, picking up a silver and bronze medal, respectively.

Daniel Tipping, Marketing + Communications Executive at Sprig + Fern Brewing Co., says:

“It’s wonderful to see recognition for these two beers – they’re two of our best-sellers, and for good reason. The G.O.A.T Doppelbock in particular is one of our strongest performers and is often well-represented in awards, so to start the year off with a community-led win is really terrific!

The top three beers in each category were determined by their average rating from check-ins with ratings in the calendar year. For a beer to qualify, it must have received at least fifty check-ins from fifty unique Untappd community members in 2023.
