Sprig + Fern Brewing Co. today release the beer that marks their first foray into the Mexican Lager style, one that’s seen a recent surge in popularity.
Dias Soleados Mexican Lager will be available from today at Sprig + Fern Taverns – and later, from various taprooms and bars across the country. The beer is exclusively keg-only.
The name translates to ‘sunny days’, and was chosen to reflect the easy drinking nature of the 4.5% lager, which pairs perfectly with some late summer sunshine and – as reported by various Tavern owners – a slice of lemon.
The notes for Dias Soleados include the description of being “easy on the eyes with an inviting straw-gold colour, and easy-drinking with a satisfying finish and just the right amount of bitterness to boot.”
