Sprig + Fern Brewing Co. have announced their full lineup of craft beer and cider that they’ll be bringing to NZ Brewers Fest, held this Saturday.
The fourth beer to join the previously announced lineup is their newly released Hidden Gem Hazy, a 4.9% hazy pale ale brewed with experimental hop NZH-104 of NZ Hops’ Bract Brewing Programme, which was released on Wednesday.
The beer is currently available in strictly limited quantities at Sprig + Fern Taverns, in select stores and online through the Sprig + Fern website. The Brewery opted to reserve a small amount of Hidden Gem Hazy to bring to the Festival at Brewtown Upper Hutt.
Daniel Tipping, Marketing + Communications Executive at Sprig + Fern Brewing Co., says:
“The beers made as part of the Bract Brewing Programme are all about introducing beer lovers to the new and exciting flavours that these trial hops can bring to a brew. We figured, what better place to showcase this than to a crowd of craft beer devotees at Brewtown!”
NZ Brewers Fest, being held on Saturday 14 October, will feature over twenty breweries from across New Zealand, offering over 100 brews across the day, alongside food and entertainment. The Festival opens at midday, running through 7pm.
Danny Jones, Operations Manager at Brewtown Upper Hutt, says:
“We’ve got an incredible day planned at Brewtown next weekend – with some of Aotearoa’s best breweries and their brews, top local food trucks and live bands, live wrestling and street performers to keep everyone entertained, we know those joining us are in for a great time.
“Speaking of the brews, we’re stoked on the lineup Sprig + Fern is bringing, and we’re looking forward to trying their NZH-104 beer for ourselves!”
Hidden Gem Hazy joins festival favourites Grown Up Lemonade, Mango + Lime Cider and Nectaron® Pale Ale on Sprig + Fern’s menu for the day. Tickets are still available for NZ Brewers Fest at a price of $40, and can be purchased online.
