Sprig + Fern Taverns Bring a Wingmate for Dry-July

Sprig + Fern Brewing Co. is lending those taking part in Dry July a helping hand, kegging their Wingmate Non-Alcoholic Hazy IPA to be served in proper pints for the month.

The popular drop, which is ordinarily only available in 330ml cans, will be pouring at most Sprig + Fern Taverns throughout July, offering those abstaining from alcohol another drink option – aside from the usual coffee, tea, juice or soft drinks.

Daniel Tipping, Marketing + Communications Executive at Sprig + Fern Brewing Co., says:

“We had the idea to add Wingmate on taps a while ago, but let the Taverns make the decision. They were overwhelmingly in favour, and it seems to have been a popular addition – some have even ordered extra kegs!

“Hopefully this will help out those taking part in Dry July – bypassing any potential awkwardness when someone’s shouting a round of drinks, or even just for those who appreciate the flavour of beer but want to make it the full way through the month”.

The Sprig + Fern brewing team, alongside Master Brewer Tracy Banner, have utilised carefully selected malts and yeast to produce a full-flavoured beer that is no more than 0.5% alcohol by volume. It brings a pleasant hoppy aroma from a combination of Idaho 7® and Nectaron® hops.

Wingmate is available in most Sprig + Fern Taverns for one month only, or until it runs out. All Taverns carry Wingmate in 330ml cans, and six-packs can also be purchased online or in select stores nationwide.
