Can’t settle for your favourite Sprig + Fern beer style? Why not try a few at once, with our Mixed 6! Some of our favourite beers have been chosen for this handy mixed pack:
1 x Tasman Reserve Premium Lager • 6.5%
This is a lager like no other, and has certainly notched itself something of a legendary status at Taverns – and it’s simple to see why. Tasman Reserve – or ‘Tassie’, as it’s known by many – features five carefully selected hops for a bigger, bolder and more balanced premium lager with a generous fruity aroma, a citrus and passionfruit flavour and a smooth, hoppy finish.
1 x Chasing Hazy • 5.2%
Chasing Hazy is our answer to the call for a hazy that delivers everything loved about this style of beer. Our brewers have crafted a juicy hop bomb, that delivers big on the citrus, passionfruit and stone-fruit notes. Sitting at 5.2%, it’s thirst-quenching and easy-drinking, but brings you that unmistakable hazy flavour and mouthfeel – a distinctively soft, smooth body and just the right amount of bitterness.
1 x Best Bitter • 4.8%
Best Bitter blends five speciality malts to give the ideal balance of sweetness, providing well rounded toffee and biscuit characteristics. This is in combination with just the right amount of hops to accent the bitterness, and give a fruity, earthy aroma without dominating this malt-driven beer.
1 x Nectaron® Pale Ale • 5.4%
Nectaron brings intensely tropical characteristics to a brew, alongside citrus and stone fruit. Think pineapple and passionfruit, sitting alongside grapefruit and peach. Added to our Pale Ale, it delivers a juicy and sessionable flavour that is sure to delight the senses.
1 x Local Pinner NZ Pilsner • 4.8%
Local Pinner is a Tavern favourite – try it once and it’s easy to see why. It’s an aromatic, crisp, and hop-forward New Zealand Pilsner, sitting at a sessionable 4.8% ABV. Local Pinner is a great example of what a New Zealand style Pilsner should be, showcasing crisp citrus and juicy tropical fruit characters.
1 x Sailor’s Warning Red IPA • 5.4%
Deep red in colour and packed with copious amounts of New Zealand hops, this bringing the bold citrus and tropical notes typical of an IPA. But it’s the biscuity, toasty and caramel malt flavours that really round out this beer in a way that has to be tried to be believed.
Mixed 6 is a great way to try a variety of styles – think of it as your at-home tasting tray!
