Awesome Mix West Coast IPA Back With Volume Three

Sprig + Fern Brewing Co.’s Awesome Mix West Coast IPA, after two incredibly well-received iterations, is back for its third release.

The limited release beer, which is launched today, brings a familiar yet distinctly unique flavour compared to the earlier releases of Awesome Mix Vol. 1 and Awesome Mix Vol. 2, which soared in popularity (and quickly sold out) in August 2021 and February 2022, respectively.

Awesome Mix Vol. 3 has been loaded with a trio of American hops, keeping it true to style. These include Citra®, Mosaic® and Talus® from Yakima Chief Hops, which will delight drinkers with flavours and aromas of crisp citrus peel, sweet tropical and stone fruits, dried flowers, pine resin, and subtle notes of wood and herbs.

Following in the footsteps of the first two releases, Awesome Mix Vol. 3’s artwork takes a visual cue from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy film series, which coincidentally also received it’s third instalment earlier this year.

Awesome Mix Vol. 2 received international recognition last year, claiming a silver medal at the Australian International Beer Awards. It remains as one of Sprig + Fern’s top rated beers on review site Untappd, with a global rating of 3.86/5. Awesome Mix Vol. 1 sits 0.1 point lower, at 3.76/5.

The beer is available for a limited time in all fourteen (soon to be fifteen) Sprig + Fern Taverns from today, as well as in leading stores nationwide and the Sprig + Fern online shop.
