Tasman Reserve Lager is a full bodied and well balanced premium lager that holds the higher alcohol content really well. The addition of 5 hop gifts delivers plentiful aromas and taste sensation of citrus and passionfruit. It finishes beautifully with a great hoppy balance. A bold and beautiful beer.

Brewmaster’s Comments
The addition of 5 hop gifts at varying intervals during the boiling process has to be timed precisely in order to produce a consistently good brew time after time.
Fermentation usually takes about 7 days and is strictly controlled with daily quality checks.
Tasman Reserve Lager is matured for a minimum of two weeks to allow the yeast and protein to settle out of suspension. It is then filtered through a diatomaceous earth filter to remove any remaining particles before carbon dioxide is added and the beer is ready for packaging.
Tasting Notes
Whilst it may not necessarily fit into a specific beer style category in a number of International Beer Awards, Tasman Reserve Lager, our second biggest selling beer, is known as a Strong Premium Lager. It is fairly complex to brew and does take a little longer to ferment due to the higher alcohol content.
Packaging
Tasman Reserve Lager is available in 330ml six packs, 500ml glass singles and 1.25L PET riggers, online, in supermarkets and liquor outlets; and in kegs for cafes and bars.
